Motorized Microfibre Pad Restoration System

During my tenure at Scot Young Research, a Queens Innovation award-winning commercial cleaning equipment manufacturer, I lead the development of a mobile cleaning system designed to prevent cross-contamination and streamline the cleaning of small to medium floors. The project primarily aimed to address the widespread issue of excessive dirty mop build-up, a significant concern for restaurants and small businesses because of the storage and processing time for reuse.

This project successfully eliminated the common issue of excessive dirty mop accumulation, thereby optimizing storage and saving time. The unit recharges conveniently, either when docked on the bucket or independently. Also, to enhance on-the-job efficiency, bucket-attachable accessories were added for storing and moving cleaning tools throughout a shift.
